A Facelift Without Going Under The Knife

PDO threading uses sterile, absorbable PDO (polydioxanone) threads that are injected and absorbed into the skin. When administered, the threads are lifted up, which tightens the skin. As the threads absorb over time, they begin to build collagen and elastin through the body’s natural healing process. Through a customized treatment plan, PDO threads are strategically placed in sagging areas of the face, such as the jawline, jowls, “marionette lines,” oral commissures, nasolabial folds, and cheeks.

What to Expect: A PDO threading treatment can take about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the treatment area. Lidocaine will be administered to assist with minor discomfort. Most patients experience minimal downtime for about 24 - 72 hours. Patients see results immediately—and multiple treatments are not needed! Results from PDO threading can last up to 12-24 months.

Regenerating Your Skin From Within

Plaxpot™ treatments utilize a special medical device to promote skin elasticity deep within the skin and stimulate the production of collagen and fibroblasts, an important type of cell in our skin that maintains structural framework for tissue. The device uses a precise, controlled electric charge to create evenly-placed dots throughout the treatment area. This charge stimulates fibroblast activity within the skin, which leads to an increase in collagen and elastin production. Plaxpot™ works by essentially having your body naturally regenerate its own skin!

What to Expect: Topical numbing cream is used, as patients can expect some minimal discomfort during treatment. After the procedure, patients will have pinpoint scabs for approximately seven to 10 days, but can continue daily activities. Skin will feel immediately tightened after treatment and scabs are intended to fall off on their own.
