Microblading and Powder Brows at Paradise Dermatology

We are excited to announce that Paradise Dermatology now offers microblading and powder brow services!

Our entire collection of cosmetic treatments are designed to help boost your confidence and help you feel like your best self. Microblading can be a great solution for those who want to strengthen the look of their brows without applying makeup each day. Although a wonderful solution for many, microblading is not recommended for mature skin, however, the less-invasive powder brow method may be an excellent alternative option. Powder brow treatment is also known as ombre brows or microshading.

Toss Those Eyebrow Pencils!

Imagine all the money and effort you could save in eyebrow pencils and other brow products! Whether you receive microblading or powder brow treatment, you’ll be inspired to toss your eyebrow makeup and feel a renewed confidence in your look.

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that uses a soft, subtle, natural-looking pigment to provide a more filled-in look on the eyebrows.

Powder brow treatment, also a semi-permanent tattooing technique, is often a better option for older individuals who have less collagen in their skin. With the powder brow method, the pigment is applied in smaller dashes and dots rather than full strokes seen in microblading.

How Microblading and Powder Brows Work

During a microblading session, very small pigment particles are applied underneath the skin. Instead of placing the pigment deeply into the skin like a traditional tattoo, microblading occurs closer to the surface of the skin, which is part of the reason it is a semi-permanent treatment that will eventually fade away. Depending on your skin type, your microblading treatment can last from 1-3 years, making the service worthwhile for those who manage thinner eyebrows.

Powder brow treatment is similar, however, powder brow pigment is applied at an even shallower depth than microblading pigment. For this reason, powder brows will last 9-12 months. Hence the name, powder brow service results in a soft, powdery look similar to makeup.

Come Explore These New Services

Microblading can be safe for most anyone, but consultation with one of our aestheticians is still required. This cosmetic treatment is not recommended for older individuals, or those with less collagen or certain skin conditions. Our expert staff will be able to help you determine your level of potential success with microblading service. Powder brow treatment is less invasive and safer on more skin types.

Just like with any other service we offer across our practice, your provider will also direct you on best after-care practices for your eyebrows following treatment. Book your consultation here! Please note that these services are only offered at our Sarasota location.

Not only are microblading and powder brows now added to our collection of cosmetic services, but through September 30, patients can receive microblading at a discounted rate to celebrate this new service line.
