Employee Spotlight: Lizz Hood

Lizz Hood is one of our cosmetic medical assistants at our Sarasota and Englewood offices! As a cosmetic medical assistant, Lizz enjoys helping patients glow their brightest and feel their most confident! Lizz started her career as a medical assistant, and ultimately met a dermatologist that offered her a job. She found a love for cosmetics and now has worked in the field for 13 years.

1. Who and/or what inspired you to pursue your career?

I was always interested in anti-aging, but general dermatology opened the door.

2. What motivates you to do your best work? 

I love to see happy patients and to help them feel better about themselves.

3. Please share your proudest moment at Paradise.

So far, throwing a successful fundraiser for our sick coworker.

4. What do Paradise patients mean to you?

I really enjoy what I do and Paradise makes that possible. I also really love working with Alex and I have some wonderful coworkers.

5. Tell us a little bit about what you do outside of work - your family, hobbies, interests, etc. 

Outside of work, I hang out with my family and enjoy spoiling my five grandchildren.
