Best Face Forward for a Cause: A Cosmetic Fundraiser to Fight Ovarian Cancer

Paradise Dermatology, a leader in providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatological care to Sarasota and Charlotte Counties, is hosting a community-wide fundraiser to help one of their own team members. The goal is to raise funds for critical medical costs and future financial needs of her family as well as raising awareness of ovarian cancer.

Patients, friends, family, and the rest of the community are invited to attend Best Face Forward for a Cause at their Venice location, 315 Nokomis Ave S, on Friday, August 19 from 11 AM to 4 PM. Guests will enjoy mimosas, light refreshments, and may donate for raffle tickets to win high-value prizes, courtesy of Paradise Dermatology. 

“Caring is a core value for us—not just for our patients, but also our team members and our community,” said Dr. Michelle Pennie, Founder and Medical Director of Paradise Dermatology. “We encourage everyone to join us to help someone close to us in need,” she added. 

The event will also include the opportunity to receive select cosmetic treatments including HydraFacials, fillers, and injectables at discounted rates, with proceeds going to the family in need. Interested patients should call to schedule an appointment during the Friday event on August 19 to reserve a time and ensure desired inventory.
